ÿThe FCC Universal Licensing System (ULS[1]) online filing system currently is experiencing problems and is inaccessible. This includes application and license searches, as well as License Manager, Tower Construction Notification System, E-106 System, ASR Online Filing, ASR Application Search, ASR Registration Search, TOWAIR, and all ULS Specialized Searches). "We are actively researching the issue and a resolution," the FCC said on its website. "We apologize for any inconvenience."
ARRL VEC Manager Maria Somma, AB1FM, says the outage is affecting the FCC's electronic batch filing system, through which VECs file license applications. "We are continuing to transmit files to FCC, but license applications have not been processed by FCC since the close of business yesterday," Somma said.
The FCC also has announced that the public access daily and weekly transactions[2] pages have migrated to a new location. The legacy public access website pages - daily[3] and weekly[4] - will remain accessible until June 10, at which point they will be redirected to the new transactions page[5].ÿ
