I deleted it thinking he would ul it for me but i guess he wont bother.
I'm not clear:
1. Why you, a sysop, can't upload files - that seems suspicious
2. What value the file you're wanting *me* to upload to *my* BBS provides
If you want to upload something fine, go for it, but I'm not going to do it on your behalf if I have no idea what it is or why anyone else would want it.
You're basically like: here's a file - put in on your server. With no explanation or rational. It does appear to be a modified text.dat file for sbbs v3.17b, I got that - but why? Why would anyone want *your* modified text.dat file? If there's a rationale, explain that. You didn't.
So, no, I won't "upload" your file to my system. And if it had any real value, I doubt you would have deleted it yourself. If you're not using the file yourself (presumbably on your own BBS), then how can you expect anyone else to want to use it?
