Is there a wiki or help or blog that I can read on how to set up Aftershock? I can get it to connect, and it sends messages from a Echo, but I can't get it to export/send anything.

    *confussed*

    Thanks for any help
    Regards,

    Hi

I'm new to aftershock too as well as fido, but looks like my setup works, if you can read this message. What are you struggling with specifically?

Is there a wiki or help or blog that I can read on how to set up Aftershock? I can get it to connect, and it sends messages from a Echo, but I can't get it to export/send anything.

Has worked like a gem here for some 2 years now, also this message is aftershock.

But I'm on the road now.

My Aftershock sends new messages the next time I poll. Do you see anything like
that, or errors after you poll?

I am using Aftershock regularly. It is normal to export messages when you poll your host system.

Can you elaborate further on what you are doing?

    ^^^^^^^^^

Is that a real fidonet term? :) Can you cite a reference? LOL

Any, it made me laugh a bit.

At what point is a reply considered to fall into the "necro" category?

The nature of echomail doesn't really require a specific name for "To:",
so a reply (or rather, any reply/post) at any time should be welcome, not ostracized - especially in these days of seemingly low traffic in select echos.

I still have messages that I've tagged for possible/future replies, but
    just haven't gotten a round-to-it.
