• Very Anti-American

From Gregory Deyss@1:267/150 to All on Friday, April 26, 2019 21:24:51
I had the unthinkable happen to me on Friday night when I visited the local Lowes hardware.

I went in there to purchase tools a set up ratchets and sockets - the type
you might find in a mechanics tool set. All I could find was Craftsman, sadly they are made now in China, my intent was to buy American made tools, of
    which is impossible to find.

So make a long story short, as I was making my purchase I made a comment to
the clerk ring me out, how much of a shame it was to see these now being made in china, do you know what this PUNK said to me. You are better off.
I could not believe it. I was stunned with the amount of disrespect I found
his comments to be really anti-American and shook me to my patriotic core. What made matters worse I complained to the asst manager and I got more of
the same blatant disregard. All of this while a huge American flag is hangs from the steel rafters of the store.

(It's almost like they want to give this as a illusion, he look at us, we love America, buy more stuff you don't really need.)

They have not heard the last of me, and I will take this as far as I have to and I will have ALL of my expectations fulfilled & exceeded and I
furthermore to have these commie SOB's fired for such utter disrespect not only to me but for said country.

I had to really restrain myself for what I really wanted to do was knock him
    on his GD @$$.

See you on the other side of this. I will not relent.. That's a promise.
It will be very good for me, and very very bad for those who oppose me.

    Welcome to the real world.

Scan your household, your car, your clothes labels, your computer ... It's all made somewhere else. That's what makes it affordable.

Have it all made locally and things will become so expensive you will be at the
exit of Walmart with a sign "Will work for food".

Have you checked the origins of vegetables and fruits in the local supermarket?
Welcome to the real world ...

And nobody wonders about the wages that the buggers get in China or where-ever who actually make the stuff that cheap...

I no longer shop at Wal*Mart - AT ALL.
I have had too many poor experiences of Mexicans who work there that speak NO English whatsoever. I am in Upstate New York, I am not in Brownsville, Texas which is on the boarder. It's fine though as I do not have this type of
problem at Target, Boscov's or Macy's

Sure- things are made abroad, but it was how the situation was handled. from the cashier Dillon who made the "You're better off" comment. Then it was escalated with more of the same with the assistant store manager with his No ability to understand why I was so upset and frustrated with how this situation. I find this very un-patriotic in every way possible.

I felt like I was in the twilight zone last night. If it was year
1950 this commie pig would of been fired on the spot (and perhaps even rough him him a bit. (literately) 'look here - see' we don't take kindly to that
kind of talk. but it is not 1950 it's 2019.)

You are well aware of kinda who I am, with past conversations here in fidonet, then you also must know that I will see this through and will take this to the very top of the organization.

I suppose, but it does raise more curious questions & concerns, such as how
did you get here. What's your story, how is it possible to get hired with world's largest retailer and not speak English.

As for me, I just don't give Wal*Mart any business, I choose to shop elsewhere where I get the customer service that if needed is provided in English.
It's not the only reason but it is the main reason.
It's not very clean, long lines at the checkout, low prices brings out the freaks. ex peopleofwalmart.com.

    Hello Greg,

I had the unthinkable happen to me on Friday night when I visited the local
    Lowes hardware.

The same place where Americans can buy a Katrina Cottage (pre-fab
homes for displaced folks in New Orleans).

I went in there to purchase tools a set up ratchets and sockets - the type
you might find in a mechanics tool set. All I could find was Craftsman,
sadly they are made now in China, my intent was to buy American made tools, of which is impossible to find.

Not impossible, but very difficult. Kind of like blue jeans.
But with a little bit of effort, they can be found. Just have
to find out where to look.

So make a long story short, as I was making my purchase I made a comment to
the clerk ring me out, how much of a shame it was to see these now being
made in china, do you know what this PUNK said to me. You are better off.

You gets what you pays for. Stuff that lasts a week, or maybe
a month. But cheaper than shit.

    I could not believe it.

Buy it. Use it. And doubt no more.

I was stunned with the amount of disrespect I found his comments to be
really anti-American and shook me to my patriotic core.

You gets what you pays for. A kid, dumber than a rock, getting
paid far more than his limited skills are worth, giving you sound
advice. If you were truly patriotic, you would simply give him
a hand-out and let him go his own way. Then pay somebody else
who knows what he is talking about a living wage so he or she can
tell you the very same thing as what the dumb kid had told you.

What made matters worse I complained to the asst manager and I got more of
    the same blatant disregard.

See there? The asst manager, who gets paid far more than the
dumb kid at the register, telling you the very same thing as you
had previously been told. Just think what the manager would
have told you had you gone up the chain of command ...

All of this while a huge American flag is hangs from the steel rafters of
    the store.

    Made in China, no doubt.

(It's almost like they want to give this as a illusion, he look at us, we
love America, buy more stuff you don't really need.)

They have not heard the last of me, and I will take this as far as I have to >and I will have ALL of my expectations fulfilled & exceeded and I

See you on the other side of this. I will not relent.. That's a promise.
It will be very good for me, and very very bad for those who oppose me.

What are you gonna do? Give the store manager an American flag
made in the USA? Good luck finding one ...

    Welcome to the real world.

Scan your household, your car, your clothes labels, your computer ... It's
all made somewhere else. That's what makes it affordable.

We still make pencils. Two companies, one in New Jersey,
and the other someplace else. The ones made in New Jersey
are kind of pricey, but the other ones are cheap and sold
    at WalMart.

Have it all made locally and things will become so expensive you will be at
the exit of Walmart with a sign "Will work for food".

Not everything at WalMart is made in China.

Have you checked the origins of vegetables and fruits in the local
supermarket? Welcome to the real world ...

The French Market in New Orleans has only fresh foods available,
    nothing from China.

And nobody wonders about the wages that the buggers get in China or
where-ever who actually make the stuff that cheap...

Chinese grow their own food, and give 10% of their crops to
their government. That is what is called subsidized groceries.

    Mime does have its advantages.

Tell them you are deaf and only know ASL.
You will have to sign for it.
And they will have to sign you back.
Doesn't matter what state, as ASL is the one and only American
language spoken from coast to coast.
Even if only with their hands.
