  • 6 Meters Is Hot

    6 meters has been open to most of the US and also DX comming in. I am up to
    30 countries on 50. Most of the action is on FT8. Yesterday I heard Azors, (worked - New), Portugal (worked new), Surinam (worked new) Spain, Italy and France.


    The ARRL VHF contest was great. I put about 30 new Counties and band counties into the book. I have over 75% of the US Counties worked on digtial.

    Been seeing that on Facebook too... I have my General, but only own
    a couple of handhelds and a mobile in each pickup (mine and my
    wife's) so just UHF/VHF for me so far...

    Well I've countied 13 countires heard on 6 meters. Worked 9 and 5 of them
    were new. Wish they all would confirm on LBOTW.

    6 contiuues to be in good shape. Rarest DX on 6 is the 5T5. I have not heard them though and it would be a big one if I could work it.
