I'm not sure if it's ok to cross post the same post in multiple forums, but I did want to let anyone who might be interested know that there is going to be an Amiga based get-together in Oswego NY in June. If
you're interested please stop by the Amiga International Fido forum for full details.

If people are interested and it's ok I can post the info here as well.

Will we be burning Irving Gould and Medhi Ali in effigy? I'd take the greenhouse gas/climate change hit to be able to do that.

I don't believe I spotted that on the agenda. ;)

Let me know if you think you'll be attending and I'll pass word along to
Aaron. There is no RSVP, but I believe he's trying to keep a rough count
    for ordering the food, etc.

Have to check a couple things first. Budget and work schedule. Bv)=

I was there at AmiExpo in Chicago 2 years in a row Dave. I believe '90 was one
of the 2 years. Have to check my ticket stubs. Still have them. I was fortunate to attend 7 or 8 AmiExpos scattered around the country due to my dad have tons of frequent flyer miles. Man those were the days and how I miss those shows. So much fun!

I bought a new 3000 in '90 and a couple of years later a new 3000T. Still have
'em as well as all the others.

My forever memory of that show was visiting the biffy to relieve the hydraulic pressure on my bladder and having the guy preparing to use
the urinal next to mine ask "Is this where the pricks hang out?" I
    looked
to the side and there was Jay Miner. As we were leaving the facility
he suggested a cuppa. Had a nice chat about the state o' the 'Miggy.

Very cool! I got to meet him as well tho only for a few minutes.

I owned everything but an A-1000 and had at least one example of each until the great fire. The only Amiga hardware I still have is a promo solar-powered calculator that looks like a 3.5" floppy. Still works.

I started with a 1000 in 1986. Have owned them all except for the
CD-32 and a 4000T. Still hope to get a CD-32 one of these days but
they are too expensive right now. Probably only keep going up in
value. Keep hoping for a good deal on one.

Whoopsie .... I forgot about the A4000T. I didn't get one of those. My
A-4000 got bricked by me doing a rookie trick - hot-swapping printers
without powering down. Fried the CIA chip(s) which proved to be more-or
-less "unobtanium" at that late date.

I may start casting my net for an A-3000/040 - and see if there is to
be had an ethernet card to allow me to hook up to the net with more than dial-up.

    E-Bay here I come. Bv)=

Uhm, let me think... basically I do own....
    - 1x A3000/040
    - 1x A3000/060
    - 1x A4000T/060
    - 1x A2000/060
    - 1x A4000/060
    - 2x A1000
    - 1x A500

So, I think my collection is fairly complete as I don't have much interest in A600/A1200/CD32. Only A3000T would be nice as well and as a bonus a fully equipped DraCo, but that's very pricey...

I bought last year a new X-Surf100 and added a RapidRoad USB to it. X-Surf100 is maybe cheaper than an Ariadne on Ebay...

I could get the Metra! The A3000 was a nice machine. I
remember calling Commodore UK when it was released and being told "actually, we're keeping the ones we have". That would have been the A3000/UX, which must
have been thin on the ground back then.
