    Hey mark!

The bottomline of this message is that it contains all the holes in CP1252 as well as a few that CP1252 shouldn't have issues with. Also I am checking a routine I added to offline messaging on the node which should convert all the characters in question, as well as a few that aren't in question, to CP437 from
their native UTF-8. I am guessing it won't be an issue with you but if you notice anything out of place or missing it would be nice to know.

    Life is good,
    Maurice

Interestingly, they all came through for me, too... except for the funny 'i'.... I see them in my editor as well as in the message(s) itself...

    Hallo Nancy!

Interestingly, they all came through for me, too... except for
the funny 'i'.... I see them in my editor as well as in the
    message(s) itself...

Yeppers, except in all the raw pkts I got back of the original, the "LATIN SMALL LETTER I WITH GRAVE" was still intact. Given that all the rest made it through intact is evidence favouring mark's hunch.

    Het leven is goed,
    Maurice
