I have multiple netmail areas - almost one for each ftn network I'm connected with. (I've done this so that when I reply to netmails they
have the right source address.)
I've discovered as a result of this filefix is no longer working.
IE: messages to areafix@<FTN> are being processed as a robot message,
but messages to filefix@<FTN> are not being processed by "htick scan".
So I set up a netmailarea robots and a "robotsarea robots" - thinking
that might help - but still messages to filefix do not arrive in that message area - they still arrive in the netmail area for the FTN.
(Messages to areafix@FTN do get sent to the robots area.)
Any ideas why my filefix messages are not being recognised as a robot message and going to the robots area?
I suspect (but I'm not sure) that htick is looking for netmail messages to filefix in your first listed netmail area.

(Messages to areafix@FTN do get sent to the robots area.)Because of?
What is the trigger for the destination netmail area?
Who does the choice which one to use?
I haven't but i see two ways to go. First is the normal routing where the tosser decides which mail have to go into which netmail area.
If that doesn't work for you then the carbon copy feature may do the job as requried.

robotsarea robots
(where "robots" is a netmail area).
Its strange that that "robotsarea" configuration doesnt appear to
respond to messages designated to the robot filefix.
I guess I could that as an option - but am I right that the
"robotsarea" configuration option should catch filefix as well?
