The funny part is that on one of my ham radio nets, the net control is

The first time I had heard about that was from the former singles
director at a former church (they ostracized me, and we'll leave it at
that). He was always saying "Daryl, and the other brother Darrell"...I
had no idea what he was talking about.

Then, one night, I stumbled upon The Bob Newhart Show. The scene went
    like this:

"I'm Larry. This is my brother Daryl, and my other brother Darrell. And,
we come bearing unfortunate news. We had a grease fire down at the
    restaurant".

He's briefly interrupted by a character who looked like he had been on
The Andy Griffith Show years ago...who asked "A Fire??".

Larry replied "No human casualties. But, all of our major food groups
    were scorched".

    My reaction: OMG!! :P

    Yeah - that was a favorite of mine - the show I mean - I don't remember
that specific one, but they were always great!

I remember when they were talking about going to the Riviera for vacaction
and Joann (Dick's wife) asked, "oh you're going to France?" to which Larry replied, "no, this old Buick on the riverbank" then something about Daryl calling dibbs on the hood or something. :-D

I'm a big fan of pun humor. Every May, there is the World Championship
Pun Off, which benefits the O. Henry Museum, in Austin, Texas. There are
    2 competitions:

    1) Punniest Of Show. The contestant prepares a skit, ideally 60 seconds
long. A bell rings at 90 seconds, at which point, they start deducting
points. At 2 minutes, the disqualification bell rings. The skit can have
one big pun at the end, or be loaded with puns.

    2) High Lies And Low Puns. You know the categories in advance, but don't
know the category you'll go head to head with against another punster,
until you're on the stage. You have 5 seconds to make a pun, and can't
    use the same pun twice.
