Indeed. My BBS uses CP437 and Multimail uses CP437 so it all works for me.

But the original did not have any char kludge. But not all readers fall
back to CP437 as a default. Usually the default is to just use the plain text range?
BTW.. OpenXP has been adjusted to announce CP437 in lieu of the hottly debated IBM437.
