    From "Laughter Never Gets Old"...

I was listening to some rap music this afternoon.

Not that I had a choice...it was coming out of a jeep 4 miles away.

    Oh, that brings back memories....

So, one summer night while in college, I was trying to sleep and had the window open. I noticed that someone was booming
Michael Jackson somethere. It wasn't uncommon in a college town to have someone playing their stereo loud (and this was 1985,
so Michael Jackson wasn't that uncommon either).

But I noticed that it was getting louder. Now that was weird. Usually stereos (ones played **that** loud) are not mobile.
I thought that the guy had actually turned up his volume for some reason.

    But it kept getting louder.

Then the pizza delivery guy pulls up in front of our building and the driver opens the door.

Wow! It was loud. I mean ear hurting loud.

So he delivered the pizza and left, the music slowly faded away as he drove away.

One more thing: The windows of his car were closed. He had his stereo so loud that, through closed windows, we could hear his
    music a mile away.

... It's 10:00pm. Do you know where your daughter is?

    Ron,

One more thing: The windows of his car were closed. He had his stereo
so loud that, through closed windows, we could hear his
    music a mile away.

He's probably going deaf. Plus, the vibrations of it being from a car
next to mine at a red light, makes me wonder if the car is going to shale apart, or if an earthquake has started.

... It's 10:00pm. Do you know where your daughter is?

Really. It reminds me of an old "Wizard Of Id" comic strip, that said
"It's 11pm. Do you know where your grandmother is??"...and you see her
going into a late night bingo hall!! <G>
