• Bounties On US Soldiers

    Hello Everybody,

What do you think about bounties on US soldiers?

The POTUS has been awfully quiet about this, not saying a word.
Republican Senators, including Mitt Romney, have been just as quiet,
    not saying a word.

But Steve Schmidt, who is no longer a Republican of any kind, had
lots to say, or tweet -

So. There you go. There is at least one honorable man in America
who dares call it treason. And that one honorable man certainly is
    not Donald J. Trump.

I think it is treasonous, or at least treachery.

Trump has never paid attention to what experts have to say, that is true of intelligence agencies, justice agencies like the FBI, or the science around climate change or the coronavirus.

It's all about Trump and whatever happens to be (or not) on his mind.

Thankfully there is an election coming up shortly and the people of the USA
can change all that if they choose.

    Hello Alan,

What do you think about bounties on US soldiers?

I think it is treasonous, or at least treachery.

The POTUS swore an oath to defend this country from all
enemies, both foreign and domestic. Joe Biden had some choice
words to say on this matter, and was very much to the point.
Both Trump and Pence are claiming ignorance, that it is all must
a story concocted by the New York Times. But the intelligence
agencies have known about it for quite some time. Did the POTUS
refuse to allow his own intelligence agencies to brief him?
That is too incredible to imagine. Or maybe he just got caught
out now that the NYT has made it all public knowledge.

Trump has never paid attention to what experts have to say, that is true of
intelligence agencies, justice agencies like the FBI, or the science around
    climate change or the coronavirus.

Why pay attention to what experts have to say? Trump knew what
was going on, since he was in on it. He and Putin both.

Russia put a bounty on US soldiers. Taliban would do the work,
Russians would pay warlords, Trump would reward Russians by removing
US troops from Germany, Putin would thank Trump for doing so.

It's all about Trump and whatever happens to be (or not) on his mind.

Putin has Trump in his own pocket and will do with him what he wants.
Until he gets tired of him, or he outlives his usefulness.

Thankfully there is an election coming up shortly and the people of the USA
can change all that if they choose.

Wishful thinking. Trump will declare martial law, postponing the
election indefinitely (using whatever excuse he wants).
