• Throw Away Masks4COVID-19

    Howdy!,

I went shopping for throw away Masks and came back home without any after
going to two stores for them.

The two stores had boxes of Masks for sale, but I was turned off when I saw "Made in China" was printed on the Box.

I remember reading in the newspaper, a long time ago, that China was called
the "Most Favored Nation" by one of our Presidents.

Does Anyone else remember reading about that, and recall which President
    made that decision?

    Thanks, 73 de Ed W9ODR . .

    Hello Ed,

    Howdy!,

    Howdy Podnuh!

I went shopping for throw away Masks and came back home without any after going to two stores for them.

Why would anybody buy throw away masks in the first place?

The two stores had boxes of Masks for sale, but I was turned off when I saw
"Made in China" was printed on the Box.

Makes no difference where they are made. All are over-priced and
not worth whatever is spent on them.

I remember reading in the newspaper, a long time ago, that China was called
the "Most Favored Nation" by one of our Presidents.

China is a third-world country with an aging population that is
barely able to feed itself. And it is getting older, not younger.

Does Anyone else remember reading about that, and recall which President made that decision?

    Richard M. Nixon.

    Thanks, 73 de Ed W9ODR . .

    Any time.

    That happened to me too.

I didn't pick any up because of the price. I have been out of work for 8
months and don't have a large amount of $$$ to spend these days. I didn't notice where they were made.

Products from China may have a lower price than a like product made in North America or other countries.

I'll buy a product from China if the price and quality is right.

The government of China is quite problematical but the people of China are
    not.

I don't remember that. I wonder what he was refering to?
