• Other fido politics echo?

Isn't there some other Fidonet politics echo besides this one?

Not that this one isn't enough - I like it - but what's the other one?

I got banned from Capital Station BBS recently & now this other BBS I'm on is missing an echo I think.

What's it called? I'm sure my pal Dan Cross is missing me.

    Hello Aaron,

Isn't there some other Fidonet politics echo besides this one?

Not that this one isn't enough - I like it - but what's the other one?

There are several. Some of them long dead.

I got banned from Capital Station BBS recently

Whatever for? Oh, a sysop is lord and master of his own board.

& now this other BBS I'm on is missing an echo I think.

I am sure Nick will be happy to fix that for you.

What's it called? I'm sure my pal Dan Cross is missing me.

Not to worry. The entity wanting to be known as Dan Cross
has plenty others to play with. But American ex-patriots are
kind of hard to find in KiwiLand.

Anyway, to answer your question -

There are different tags for it, depending on BBS.
On some it is called ALL_POLITICS.
On others it is called something else.
Just test each flavor until you find
    the one you want.

There's been a few come and go over the years.

Most likely you mean ALL-POLITICS. That's an active area also.

I don't know. I feel proud when people call my BBS, and I'm not sure why anyone would want to 'lose a customer.'

Thanks for that tip. I will re-examine the echos here at the realms.

To my knowledge, there is ALL_POLITICS, DEBATE, and FIDONEWS. That last
one is not supposed to be a political echo but it was about all that was
being discussed the last I looked.

Thanks. All_Politics is the one I was missing, but I found it. This dude has them alphabetized & I was looking under P.

I figured he knew how to find POLITICS because he posted that here. :) I
am aware of the other two but was not aware that they were active.
