    Hello Everybody,

If you think wind power is over-rated, check out solar power -

Oh, yeah. Deserts in Nevada and the land of Oz have all the sun ...

    It is overrated.

Feb.12th was the day that all green energy had been consumed.

All the green energy created to that point, or all green energy for what
    time frame?

All green energy that can be produced during a full year, had it been available
as from Jan.1st would've been consumed around Feb.12th.

    OK, thanks for the explanation!

    Hello, Ward!

Replying to a message of Ward Dossche to Mike Powell:

I have a 200 watt solar panel system that I use when I am using my amateur radio out in the mountains. I run the radio off of a set of series-connected (voltage is the same but the total amperage capacity is doubled) 12V golf cart batteries. On a good sunny day, I can operate all day running 100 watts of power out of the radio (about a 15-20A draw) without any issues as that solar panel system can keep up. For anything else, I'd have to depend on mains power.

    Later,

Uh, Sean, if they're series connected the voltage is doubled and the
current isn't. If they're parallel connected the amperage is doubled
and the voltage is the same.
