    Hello All.

Apologies for the late notice but on February 27 I was hit head-on at
    70 MPH
and managed to walk away with a broken pinky and a messed-up left knee.
    My car
was totaled of course. I am off work for a month to allow myself to
    heal but
typing with a full immobilizing brace on my right hand is difficult.
    So I'm
around but just not saying much.

I was in a mishap a couple of weeks ago. I was driving my Ramcharger and
some guy came sliding through his stop sign into the intersection I was
about to enter. I hit the brakes so hard I blew the master cylinder.
Anyhow, my speed at impact was about 5 mph and nobody was hurt. My
Ramcharger has a slightly bent front bumper and fender, the Chevy Malibu
lost its whole right front fender, headlight assembly, and part of the
front bumper and grille. Steel Ramcharger vs plactic Chevy

    OMG! No need to apologize...

What were you driving? I drive a Volkswagen, years ago I had a Jetta K2 I was traveling to work coming down route 43 coming from West Sand Lake approaching the intersection of route 43 and route 4 in Defreestville. Behind me as a dump-truck hauling 30 ton of shale which hit me in the real end.

When I approached the front of my car I couldn't not believe it there was no damage, just a smallest of smallest of tiny dings. Tough little car.

Good to hear you survived. What about those in the other vehicle?

On a side note, I refreshed my will.

How many folks bother to even have a will? And of those who do, how
many have kept it in a safe place? As well as keeping an extra copy
in the hands of an attorney or executor?

It is so easy for someone to claim that an individual never wrote
a will, especially if the will was placed in an insecure place.

When someone dies innestate, the state divides it equally among
heirs. Let's say an individual wants to give 50% to one heir,
25% to another heir, 10% to somebody else, and the rest to charity.
One of his heirs gets greedy, or has been shut out. What to do?
Steal the will, and destroy it. The state then has to divide
    equally.

Replying to a message of Lee Lofaso to Sean Dennis:

Good to hear you survived. What about those in the other vehicle?

The other two victims are fine. They were in a 2006 Crown Victoria.

How many folks bother to even have a will? And of those who do, how
many have kept it in a safe place? As well as keeping an extra copy
in the hands of an attorney or executor?

There's three copies of my will: the original in my safe deposit box at my credit union, the second is with my parents, and a third is with a trusted friend.

It is so easy for someone to claim that an individual never wrote a
will, especially if the will was placed in an insecure place.

Hence why I have three copies (plus a scanned copy somewhere safe).

When someone dies innestate, the state divides it equally among
