You are not sending billions to Ukraine, you are sending lots of equipment already in storage, often awaiting destruction, now giving place to newer equipment. Have you seen the airfields in Arizona harbouring all the hundreds of military planes, taking out of commission?

Don't you understand that not a single dollar of your tax money is spent, it's already been paid for decades ago? Now is the time to finally reap the fruits of all those billions wasted on the "War on Terrorism" and not even have to get a single soldier killed.

As for your kids not getting basic medics, you have to thank the GOP for that...

The Congress does not spend money. It allocates funds. So what powers
does the president really have? Not much, all things considered.

Listening to his speech, I'd say his malady is incurable.

Noam Chomsky used to poke fun of GWB's terminology, calling his
"War on Terror" an absurdity - and for all the right reasons.

Am currently reading a new book by Chomsky - "The Withdrawal".

As usual, he has a very interesting viewpoint.

War on Terror. GWB's favorite phrase. Terror is a verb.
According to every dictionary I know. Even in Texasland.

Poor George. Got himself all worked up about nothing.
Even got Mad Vlad to go along with him. Invaded Afghanistan
on false pretenses, gave up on finding who done it to us,
then went after a guy in Iraq who had nothing to do with it.

What a racket. Convinced the Congress to pass his Patriot Act
so he could rule by decree. And still never did get his guy.

All of that had to wait until the black man with the power
came along and ordered Navy Seal Team Six to take care of business.
And we all know the rest of the story.
