• Border wall

The Democrats in congress won't fund Trump's border barrier, primarily
because it's his idea and his campaign promise. They claim a physical
barrier isn't necessary and that the border can be controlled with
    sensors and drones.

Well, since 2006 the government has spent well over a billion dollars
on sensors and drones along the border with Mexico, and in thirteen
years those sensors and drones haven't slowed the illegal infiltration
a bit. Several sections of walls have been built, and in those
sections of the border the illegal infiltration was reduced by 90
percent. There's a message there that even the densest Corruptocrat politician should be able to understand.

Since drones and sensors demonstrably DON'T WORK, perhaps we should try
a physical barrier, like a wall. But because it's Trump's idea and
Trump's project and Trump's campaign promise the Corruptocrats will
    fight it tooth and nail

I'm trying to figure out why democrats (and their supporters) want these things:
No border - who cares what's coming in or going out
Murderers with no traceable DNA - who are very difficult to capture
    Drugs to flow uninterrupted
Children being used as tools to help people get ahead in life

    Instead of these things:
A heavily fortified border - partly so American criminals can't escape
To be able to trace DNA from murderers who are here legally
To put a significant dent in the drug trade
Children to be kept safe at home, instead of being exploited, raped, killed

The democrats love pain, misery, and suffering so much, that they are willing to fight for it. Luckily, a few good republicans love the opposite so much
that they are willing to counterstrike.

Why should the Congress fund what is not needed or wanted?
We have border security. There are ways to improve border security.
Without resorting to spending funds on a needless medieval wall
    that serves no real purpose.

But do we want border security improved, or do we want the border erased?

If we improve border security, won't that lead to more children drinking
    urine in cages?

Maybe the borderwall will fix the issue but I think Trump steped over his constitutional authority several doing things without congress approval.
