The screen is reeeeeeeeeeeeallly skinny in the editor.

It shouldn't be. I haven't used Winpoint in a decade or so but when I did it was a nice full screen interface and fairly easy to use.

Another choice for a point setup is Aftershock (it'll cost you a dollar) or hotdoged. Those are android apps that'll work on an android device like a phone
or tablet.

I haven't used hotdoged in a while but I think it's free. I use Aftershock for my own point when I'm on the road. It works well and setup is quick and easy.
